AI training where sales and marketing come out with forecasting and segmentation on their own data

SECTORFine jewellery manufacturing
SERVICEAI training — general + per functional area
DURATION40 hours
OUTCOMESales and marketing operating on forecasting and segmentation

The context

In luxury and jewellery, demand forecasting and customer knowledge matter more than elsewhere: strong seasonality, collections, segmented customer bases. A jewellery manufacturer wanted to train its team on AI without stopping at theory, with a concrete return for the functions working on sales and customers. The challenge: give the whole staff a common baseline while going deep where it really mattered.

The approach

Forty hours in two stages. First, a general cross-functional training — what’s useful, what’s risky, how to frame a problem to solve with AI — to align the company. Then specific modules per functional area, with an operational focus on two high-value cases: sales forecasting and customer segmentation. Not textbook exercises, but work on the company’s own data and real questions.

The outcome

The sales and marketing functions left the programme with an applicable method for building forecasts and segmenting customers on their own data, and the rest of the organisation with a common baseline for recognising where AI is worth it. The training prepared decisions, it didn’t sell tools.
