80 AI use cases mapped to decide where to really invest
The context
When AI enters a services company’s agenda, the risk isn’t doing too little: it’s scattering across ten disconnected initiatives, none of them ever finished. This company, active in accounting and HR, wanted the opposite — to understand, before committing resources, where AI is genuinely worth it in its own internal processes and in the services it offers clients.
The approach
I mapped and analysed 80 possible AI applications across internal processes and client-facing services, evaluating them and ranking them by value and feasibility. Not a list of ideas, but a reasoned portfolio: for each case, what it takes, what it delivers, how close or far it is from being achievable.
The outcome
The company now has a concrete map to decide where to invest first, instead of chasing the loudest initiative. On this basis, an ongoing AI oversight role (retainer) is under discussion, to support execution of the identified priorities.
